Kine Boman, born 1973, has been engaged professionally in documentary filming since 2001. Her first own documentary was The Only Image of My Father, first presented at the Göteborg International Film Festival 2004. Photography - Hans-Olof Utsi
Hans-Olof Utsi, 38 year-old Sami photographer from Mertajärvi in the northernmost part of Lapland. Since 1994 proprietor of Fotograf Hans-Olof Utsi AB in Kiruna. The company provides services within still, video and film production. Since 1998 the company has even produced its own short films and documentaries. Hans-Olof has worked for Sveriges Television and several television companies abroad.
Editing - Rasmus Ohlander
Rasmus Ohlander, born 1972, has been active professionally in editing/cutting since 1998. Graduate of the Editing School at University College of Film, Radio, Television and Theatre in Stockholm. Rasmus has edited documentaries as well as short, medium length and feature films. Lives in Göteborg.
Original music - Nina Sarri Vahlberg
Nina Sarri Vahlberg, graduate of Royal College of Music, Stockholm, 1994-98. Further studies in composition at Conservatory of Music, Piteå, and between 1999 and 2002 with Jan Sandström, Jan Ferm, and Hans Hjortek. Freelances as a composer and music artist. During the past few years she has composed music for stage and film, as well as commissioned works for jojk (Sami chant) and the group Blåskvintetten.
Sound design - Linda Brännström
Linda brännström, född 1983, från Haparanda. Utbildad ljudingenjör på musikhögskolan i Piteå.
Har jobbat som frilansande ljudtekniker inom film tv och live musik
sedan 2000. De senaste åren har det mest varit ljudläggning och tramp
för film och tv serie. Som produktionerna: Möbelhandlarens dotten,
wallander filmerna, Black Island Sisters, TV serien Höök.
Awards
Herdswoman was awarded with the Documentary Film Prize at the 50th Nordic Film Days in Lübeck. The film has earlier won an Audience Prize and Best Esthetic Award.
The participants
In the old days she used to ski many miles, child and provisions on her back - now she takes to the hills on a four-wheeler or a snow scooter.
